SIGMA, JURNAL SAINS DAN TEKNOLOGI, Vol. 13, No. 1 Januari 2010 (Rak 7-N : Sains Dan Teknologi) ABSTRACT: According to the altitude, Bogor can be devided into low land, medium and up land areas. Five villages namely Bogor, Parung, Gunung Sindur, Sawangan and Cibinong to be selected areas in this study. The objectives of this study are to know horticultural plants which can be grown at Bogor area especially. The study was also intended to know agro-ecosystem which are praticed and cultural practise in this area. Data was collected by survey and analyzed using D&D method. Study of agro-ecosystem plant horticultural was carried out at low land area of bogor. There can be found about 30 species of fruit plants, 26 species of vegetable plants and 41 species of ornamental plants and grow at several agro-ecosystems namely homegardens, 'talun kebun', plantation, dry area and semi intensive system especially on fruits and decoration plants. The horticultural plants consist of economic and non-economic plants. compare to the up land area, the variation of plant species at low area showed fewer.
