Buletin Keairan media Informasi Kegiatan Penelitian Keairan, Vol. 2 No. 2, Desember 2009 (Rak 7-M : ILMU TANAH & AIR) ABSTRAK : Raw water supply providing community water supply at catchment scale needs to be developed both technically and non-technically. The management of catcment area shall therefore determine a priority area to buid an effective raw water supply system referring to the Water Poverty Index (WPI). The objective of this research is to provide an alternative model for water for water supply management at catchment scale through the priority index applied in particular catchment area. The research also determines the weighting factors of components and sub-components based on questionnaire survey. "Expert choice for windows" software is used to analyze the survey data. Based on the pair-wise assessment method, analyzed results show a significant effect of about 70.1% of water availability to the index. Meanwhile, components of water usage and social-economics effect to the index are around 24.3% and 5.6% respectively. It is concluded that, Priority index for Raw Water Supply (Indeks PPAB) can be proposed for " rapid assessment" in integrated water resource management at catchment scale.
