Each of the women in this book has revealed her innermost thoughts, hopes and concerns. Each is successful in her own right. Some have achieved careers in male dominated fields, others have managed their households and earned enough to support their families. While some of the women succeeded with the encouragement of their families, others were successful in spite of their families and some out of sheer necessity.
However, one of the common threads throughout this book is that although proud of their achievements, each of the women is acutely aware that critical eyes are watching them and in fact, waiting for them to fail.
